It seems that brides tastes in looking for a dress are far more simplistic than in the past.

Many gowns give the option of color accents such as claret, pink, lilac, celadon and even black. Shantung silk is making a big comeback. Off the shoulder, halters and sleeves are more prominent than in the past. The traditional long sleeves with satin and lace as well as the tulle ball gown styles are also very popular. Couples are choosing destination and beach weddings more than ever. The simple chiffons and short wedding gowns are perfect for such weddings.

We are finding that bridesmaids dresses are more suited to be more than a “one time dress”. There are many styles that can be used for either a party dress or guest of a wedding dress at another time.

The materials are much more chiffons and georgette.

The short dress for bridesmaids is extremely popular. The sundress look is a great summer bridesmaid dress and is a good choice for beach weddings. The manufacturers are making more color choices than ever before so that the bride has many to choose from.
